Meet. Dr. Harry Heeder, San Diego Chiropractor

DrHarryHeederI’d rather not admit it, but what the heck, here goes. I was one of those guys that put off seeing a chiropractor until the pain that would come and go became constant, unrelenting agony.

I couldn’t sit, I couldn’t stand, I couldn’t do anything without the pain. I was in tears, it was that bad. It got in the way of doing my job, sleeping and having fun. Now that I know what I know, it’s hard to believe I waited.

Those visits to the chiropractor turned my life around. First of all, I got off the pain train and rejoined the land of the living. But even better than that, I found my true calling.

You see, I always wanted to make a difference and have a positive impact on the world. So when I decided to become a chiropractor myself, I got to do exactly that – help others enjoy a renewed level of activity, increased energy, better productivity, fewer aches and pains, lower stress, a brighter disposition and an overall increase in their quality of life.

I chose chiropractic when I learned that it was the only health profession that tapped into the body’s innate healing ability and empowered people to abandon the practice of fighting sickness and disease in favor of pursuing health to express their fullest human potential, naturally.

Chiropractors aren’t treating symptoms. We’re helping the body naturally heal itself. I can think of nothing more fulfilling to do than to help someone live to their highest level.

I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Ga. I’m also a member of these professional associations: California Chiropractic Association (CCA), International Chiropractic Association (ICA), and Chiropractors on the Road to Excellence (C.O.R.E.).

I have 180 hours of training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and I hold a Webster Certification, an advanced chiropractic technique which is very helpful with pregnant women, especially those whose babies are in a breech position prior to birth.

When you talk to me for the first time, you’ll no doubt pick up on my sense of humor and a hint of a Boston accent. That’s right, I proudly hail from Massachusetts, where I grew up in a big Italian family. But San Diego is now my home.

When I’m not in my office, I might be looking at the stars (I’m big on astronomy), camping or snow skiing. I also follow sports and love listening to music, everything from Beatles to Beethoven. And as a former chef, I’m an awesome cook, which my wife, Nicole, an employment attorney, will attest to. Need a recipe? Give me call!

I look forward to meeting you!
